I've learned a lot throughout this film. Mainly what I am capable of doing when I really enjoy it.
I do feel like I could have done a lot better on this project, but I also feel very proud of what I've done. This is something I really put work into and I think it shows off. My time management could have been a little better but I've got to say, it's a heck of a lot better than last years project. I showed one of my friends what I've been doing for this project and he seemed to be really into it, so we actually started planning videos and editing old videos I had to make them funnier or cleaner. One fun exercise we did is try to edit a video I took when I was in the 7th grade to look like a horror trailer. Another huge bonus from this project is I feel a lot more comfortable with Photoshop now, and I feel like the time I put into the postcard and title "logo?" was time well spent. Overall I am satisfied with my project and I have to say, I am incredibly relieved it's come to an end. There were some minor setbacks along the way, some of which I didn't fully recover from, but I did overcome a lot of obstacles and although there are scenes that if I had more time to plan, I'd change (having two lookalike actors), I still feel like I'm bringing a quality product to the table. I'm grateful for this opportunity to grow as an artist and I can't wait to see where this newfound hobby with my friend takes us. It's unfortunate that we are both going to different universities in a few months, but on the bright side, we have all summer to goof around and explore film. Well, this is me signing off, thanking you for reading up to now, and I hope you enjoyed the journey.
Your pal,

Research
There's this show, Money Heist and not gonna lie I'm a little obsessed. They do a really good job with editing, quick cuts when necessary, shots that make sense with what's being filmed and even though al this I knew from last year, they use a recurring motif of freeze framing and turning the colors to white red and black. I really like this effect because at least for me, it makes me anxious for what happens, and it irritates me in a good way. It makes me excited for what happens next. They use it mainly for giving information through text, but I feel like I can make it work in my film. Basing my decision on color theory, I don't think I'll use red black and white, maybe white, blue and black to give the feeling of something eery and dark. My only issue is I want to avoid the blue calming down my audience, or I might use it immediately after really tense scenes to calm down my audience because my entire film is very intense. I'll use photoshop to edit whatever freeze frame I decide to alter the color on.
Group Meeting
Today we met in groups to help each everyone out. Everyone ha really good comments, but what was discussed for my project was the title, I don't really like Shadowed but it's the best resemblance to my plot twist. What was discussed for other groups was the marketing plan, which I really ned to work on. As in whether to display it at a film festival or directly to TV, how to advertise and more. I have more to work on than I thought.

Storyboard
Using the filler shots I have I've made a story board of how I want everything to be organized.
I have two actors set to play the main role but I am not sure which of them two will convey more emotion. I've also done more on the website and worked on the postcard, designing a logo for Repeat, because at the moment I can't think of a better title. I've considered Shadow, like as if someone was being shadowed but I'd like to see if I can think of a better title. I'm filming Friday and Saturday the official shots.

Quick Comment
So I've just realized neither Repeat nor Loop will make good titles because that only references the twist, I need to title it something more to do with a Horror Movie.
